The HTC One M8 Eye will pack a 13-megapixel Duo Camera and the HTC Eye will sport a 5.2-inch 1080p display and 8-megapixel shooter. When HTC unveiled the HTC One at Mobile World Congress in 2013, the company surprised the smartphone world by choosing to take a page out of Apple's smartphone playbook by putting major focus on its flagship smartphone's design.
HTC is about to unveil a new variant of the HTC One M8, which is rumored to be called the HTC One M8 Eye. A report from the same source claims that HTC will also announce a new smartphone called the HTC Eye that will cater to selfie lovers.There, it is believed that the company will introduce a GoPro-like camera and perhaps the HTC Eye.
We are now learning that the HTC Eye is indeed separate handset from the HTC One (M8) ‘Eye’ that surfaced on Friday. The One (M8) ‘Eye’ is identical to the existing One (M8), but it features a 13MP Duo Camera setup. The source maintains that the HTC Eye is still “the ultimate selfie phone.”

For the folks who prefer plastic’s organic feel and resistance to wear, HTC introduced today the One (E8), a One variant packing a polycarbonate body and a 13MP camera that will be priced “very competitively.”
The red and white models have a high gloss finish, while the gray model seems to be matte. All versions feature faux metal accents around the camera and flash, as well as on the power button at the top. Instead of the 4 Ultrapixels Duo Camera on the M8, the plastic E8 features a conventional 13MP camera that seems similar to the module on the Desire 816. There’s no dual-tone LED flash, though
