The iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus pre-orders began in the US on Sept. 12, and the shipping of the devices will start on the Sept. 19 release date. The next-generation device comes in two versions, with a faster processor, an improved camera and bigger screen sizes than any previous iPhone. It'll also ship with Apple's new mobile operating system, iOS 8.
On Sept. 15, Apple announced that the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus will be also available to 22 additional countries on Friday in the coming week. Last year, the Cupertino company had released the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C with other countries on the scheduled release date.
Apple adds on to say that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus pre-orders have broken all the older first pre-order records. Starting at 8AM on Sept. 19, the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus can be purchased directly from the Apple retail stores in the US.

The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will both be available in stores from 8am on September 19th. Pre-orders began on Friday, and the iPhone 6 Plus sold out almost instantly.

The iPhone 6 will be available in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB versions - it's great to see the bigger storage capacities at last. The 16GB version will cost £539, 64GB will be £619, and up to £699 for the 128GB version.
iPhone 6: Design
The iPhone 6 will come in the same three hues as the iPhone 5s, but this is quite a different-looking smartphone. The new 4.7in screen is one of the iPhone 6's main features. It's what Apple is calling a Retina HD display. No QuadHD resolution here (as on LG's G3), nor on the iPhone 6 Plus. Instead, Apple is focusing on quality: the iPhone 6 has the most accurate (sRGB accurate, in fact) colours on an iPhone yet. Naturally, developers can optimise their apps to work better on the iPhone 6 (and 6 Plus).
