VR One headset release date, When the name Carl Zeiss is mentioned, we tend to think about cameras and photography and how Carl Zeiss’ lenses tend to be found on the more high-end of camera equipment. Lens producer Carl Zeiss is stepping into the virtual reality headset market, with its own device.
A smartphone is first placed into a tray, designed to make the phone sit in the correct position when the tray is inserted into the headset, It is compatible with devices between 4.7 and 5.2 inches using a small compartment (drawer) designed to house an iPhone or Android device. Well it looks like the company is venturing into the wearables market as they have recently announced the Carl Zeiss VR One headset. The VR One follows the same idea as other devices like the Gear VR by providing a device that relies on a paired smartphone in order to provide the brains and the screen for the VR experience

VR One is sold priced at $ 99,0 or 78 EUR ( 1 million IDR in indonesia), and is a smartphone VR headset that is aimed at the mass market. While it certainly isn’t as affordable as Dodocase’s $25 cardboard VR headset, VR One comes in at half the price of the expected Samsung Gear VR listing. smartphone VR One is based around the same principals of Samsung's Gear VR, which was co-developed with Oculus VR, but with a much less specific hardware requirement. The good news is the VR One will arrives in December 2014.
