Mazda Hazumi Concept, Present at The Geneva Motor Show 2014, After previous success with concept car first labeled Takeri, Mazda Motor Corporation re-launched the Mazda Hazumi  Concept Car on display at the Geneva Motor Show 2014.

The Hazumi and the Mazda2 production car it will propagate make proud Mazda’s Kodo design theme, with a protruding 5 point grille connected to the headlights with a sweep style . Other vehicles in the Mazda range to use the Kodo design include the just released third generation Mazda CX-5, Mazda3 and Mazda6. The updated Mazda CX-9 also picked upKodo design elements. The new Mazda2 will also pick up the fuel-saving new engines marketed under the SkyActiv banner that characterizes Mazda car itself.

 Mazda Hazumi Specifications : 

While the Hazumi concept car has dimension 4,070 x 1,730 x 1,450 (mm), 2,585 mm Wheelbase, 5-door hatchback Body style, and be armed 1.5-litre ( Skyactiv-D diesel engine) four-cylinder turbo diesel engine and mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, to achieve under 90g/km CO2. Mazda says the pairing offers ‘outstanding fuel economy without compromising powerful, linear performance and the hazumi also believed to be fuel-efficient because Fuel use  to be significantly lower than the current car’s 6.4 litres per 100km official claim. The diesel version would be the most economical diesel on the market if it were to go on sale today, with fuel consumption of about 3.5Litre/100km.

Managing Director of Mazda Motor Europe, Jeffrey Guyton revealed that before the official unveil Mazda Hazumi stated that  SKYACTIV technology is a new platform for all segments of the car manufacturer Mazda. Mazda is once again poised to challenge all comers in the subcompact category with the HAZUMI concept, should the vehicle end up as a production model, as many are wishing.

In the Japanese language, Hazumi means 'jump' in philosophy can also mean a dynamic and powerful movement of an animal in the wild.
