Vivo X5Max soon displace the OppoR5 as the thinnest smartphone in the world. As we know, R5 Oppo recently released and won the title of the thinnest smartphone in the world and must be willing to be shifted by Vivo X5Max. Thickness of Vivo X5Max only 4.75 mm , thinner than the Oppo R5 reaches 4.85 mm thick.
The Vivo X5Max full dimensions are 153.9 x 78 x 4.75 mm. The smartphone runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat, featuring a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels, Long Term Evolution (LTE), 13 MP rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, 5 MP front camera or great selfies and smooth video calls experience, 2 GB of RAM and supported by the graphics processing of Mali-450MP4, 16GB of internal storage with expansion slot that accepts cards up to 128GB and an octa-core 1.7 GHz processor (possibly made by MediaTek). It has support for 4G TD-LTE, microUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi and GPS with A-GPS support and TD-SCDMA connectivity and has dual SIM support. No details about the battery yet. According to the image, it seems to have a metal back cover.
Its design visible very much like the one of an iPhone product, an older generation one and the camera at the back tends to bulge from the body a bit. I’ll say that the weight of 146 grams was quite big for such a slim phone.
The Vivo X5 Max already obtain TENAA certificate and should be launched by the end of the year and maybe only launched in China market for starters, but we think that later it will also sold in U.S. stores, too. There’s been no word on a price or release date for the Vivo X5 Max, but we expect to hear something soon.
