HTC Desire 816 release date, HTC has finally launched its newest smartphone the HTC Desire 816 in India for Rs. 23.900 or $ 390 The most surprising aspect of the HTC Desire 816 is its value for money. Weighing in at 165 grams and measuring 7.9 mm or 0.311 inches, HTC introduced the Ultrapixel camera technology the HTC Desire 816 embodies the same design as the M7.

The 5.5 inch Super LCD2 display is also extremely well done. It supports 1080p recording and integrates HTC’s Zoe. HTC also included a 13 Megapixel primary camera alongwith a 5 Megapixel (MP) front-facing one for great selfies which has its own BSI sensor and support for full HD recording. HTC BlinkFeed is included along with Sense 6 UI and Android V 4.4.2 Kitkat OS. Currently, the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra offers the same specifications as the HTC Desire 816 but with some differences. The smart phone HTC 816 has also 4G connectivity. The device is powered by Non-Removable Li-po 2600 mAh standard battery.

Whatever the case, we certainly are happy that HTC has decided to focus more on mid range budget devices which would be affordable for more and more people as traditionally HTC handsets have been on the higher side of the price spectrum as compared to their competition.
