HTC RE camera, HTC has begun teasing a product coming on October 8 at its Double Exposure event. From an earlier report, we knew that the mystery is an action camera, and HTC’s ownRECamera.com teaser website confirmed the device’s name.
The Re looks like a periscope, but it’s actually a mobile camera that can take high-quality still shots and Full HD video; it’s built to grab and go, and geared towards camera buffs who aren’t exactly adrenaline junkies like GoPro users, but still need a good, portable camera to capture moments on the fly. The RE is waterproof out-of-the-box to IP57 standards or IP58 standards if you add the optional waterproof cap, The RE Camera will feature a wide-angle lens and a 16MP sensor with 820 mAh battery is quoted as giving a record time of 1 hour 40 minutes and HTC clearly hopes people will use it as a selfie camera and now UK mobile carrier EE has announced that they will be offering the device in the UK from next month.

HTC RE is a waterproof camera that is capable of being submerged up to a depth of 3 m for 30 minutes, HTC says the Re gets 1.5 hours of battery life when filming Full HD video, but lasts much longer if you’re just taking stills. The HTC RE, in the UK,via its website and Twitter accountwhich suggests, camera will be available from EE in Early November, and the device will retail for £169.99 (about €215) and are quoting availability as early November, it will also be widely available in the US and presumably will appear in many other markets too.
