VW Golf GTE Plug In Hybrid has a total power output of 201 HP and 350 Nm of torque combined gasoline engine and an electric engine. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h can be achieved in just 7.6 seconds, top speed is recorded at 140 miles per hour (mph). This Car also equipped with a 1.4 liter gasoline turbo 4 cylinder and an electric motor for a combined output of 201 HP. With its E suffix, this Golf suggests a blending of sportiness and efficiency. Volkswagen says the GTE can travel for a full 31 miles on electricity only, sparing inner cities the toxic fumes of its gasoline engine (really, as a Euro six–compliant engine, it is ultraclean), and in the composition European cycle, it is rated at a mind-boggling 157 mpg. That number, of course, will vary substantially according to the distance traveled and your driving style, not to mention a testing method that places a heavy emphasis on electric-only driving. Driven sharply or over long distances, however, fuel consumption will be more in line with conventional gasoline cars and might not even beat the efficiency of a GTD.

This car be equipped supplied with power from a high-voltage 8.8 kWh liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery that is charged from a socket behind the VW logo in the radiator grille. The battery weighs 265 pounds, or about eight percent of the GTE's 3360-pound curb weight. The GTE has a six-speed DSG® automatic transmission that was developed specifically for hybrid vehicles.
VW Golf GTE Exteror and Interior :
