Chevrolet Captiva Review, This car is also classified as a crossover vehicle that incorporation of MPV and SUV car in which one side of the car is capable of carrying many passengers like MPV and capable of driving on rough terrain like SUVs.

This car is available in two models: a high-spec, seven-seat, four-wheel-drive one and an entry-level, five-seat, two-wheel-drive version. though all Captivas are comfortable and well equipped, they don't lead the class when it comes to efficiency and the range-topping LTZ specification can be quite expensive. Models with four-wheel-drive get standard hill-descent control and grip better in slippery conditions, but aren't noticeably quicker than the two-wheel drives. We normally prefer manual gearboxes, but the Captiva's notchy six-speed manual transmission means the automatic is the one to go for here, even if it can occasionally be slow to respond.

The Captiva has always been a capable SUV, but the recently launched refresh has added a few new features like 3rd row HVAC control, an electric parking brake, cruise control, a sunroof and automatic wipers. In addition, there is also a remote-operated tailgate glass, space to stow things below the boot floor and a cooled glovebox. Safety is also constitute international standards, with six airbags and ABS with EBD.  Although the Captiva handles well, it lacks the poise of the best handling SUVs on the market. On the plus side, the 2.2-litre diesel engine is smooth and powerful in either 161bhp or 182bhp form.
